New Community Center

Habitat and local partners are

building a new community center!

Habitat for Humanity of Berkeley County is proud to partner with local community organizations in building a new community center in the heart of Moncks Corner, SC.

The location of the new community center is historically known for hosting local baseball games and community gatherings Habitat and it's partners look forward to recreating the centralized gathering location by building a 1600 sq. ft. community center.

The new community center will be overseen by the Grace Impact Development Center and be used for after-school programming, specialized job training, civic education, senior programs and community functions within the Wall Street Community. The achievement in building this community center is projected to become a model for future building projects in other rural communities across southeast. A grant from Lowes has been a catalyst towards starting the building process.
