Through affordable homeownership opportunities, financial education, advocacy efforts, and neighborhood empowerment programs, Berkeley Habitat empowers families, advocates for affordable housing opportunities and strives for community collaboration.
Interested in Homeownership?
We are opening up our homeownership program selection period to determine eligible program participants with moderate to severe need of housing who, upon successful completion of the homeownership program - having maintained program eligibility and their ability to pay an affordable Habitat mortgage - will have the option to apply for a 3-bedroom home.
First, please note, the Berkeley Habitat homeownership program selection period strictly determines one’s eligibility to participate in the homeownership program and is not an application for, or guarantee of homeownership. Applying for a home occurs after program participant(s)’ successful completion of the homeownership program.
